Multi-County Juvenile Detention Center of correction is a state prison located in Lancaster, Ohio. The Multi-County Juvenile Detention Center is run by the Ohio Department of Corrections (DOC) who offer the inmates the following programs in a bid to help them reform:

The incoming mails are strictly inspected to dispose of contrabands and can only be delivered if they have a return address; a mail without a return address is disposed of with other disallowed items.

Publications such as books and magazines are allowed into the Multi-County Juvenile Detention Center. However, they have to be directly sourced from the publishers or bought from a recognized store.

Sending money

Visitors are expected to apply for visits before they are allowed to see the inmates. The visiting schedule is determined by Ohio DOC.

There are specific days and time when you can visit a certain inmate at the Multi-County Juvenile Detention Center However, you have to undergo an approval process. Once permitted you can visit an inmate during walk-in hours, that is from Thursday all through Sundays. The visiting sessions are 8:30am – 10-30am, and 1:30pm – 3:30pm.
