Sending Mail

The Lorain County Jail permits its inmates to receive mail and care packages from family and well-wishers. All mail is sent through the Securus Digital Mail Center. They must all be addressed to:

Sending Money

Inmates in the Lorain County Jail are also allowed to receive commissary funds into their accounts. Money is accepted every day of the week at all times. Upon booking, inmates are expected to set up an account through which they can receive funds to purchase commissary items. Phone Calls

The Lorain County Jail has phones installed at each cell block accessible to inmates daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.; inmates cannot receive calls. The Lorain County Jail allows inmates to make Collect calls paid for by the call’s receiver. Visitations
