Sending Mail

The DuPage County Jail permits its inmates to receive mail and care packages from family and well-wishers. All mail is sent through the Securus Digital Mail Center. They must all be addressed to:

Incoming mails are expected to have a relevant return address; otherwise, they might not reach the intended inmates. The correspondence is scanned before viewing by inmates at the digital kiosk.

Sending Money

Inmates in the DuPage County Jail are also allowed to receive commissary funds into their accounts. Money is accepted every day of the week at all times. Upon booking, inmates are expected to set up an account through which they can receive funds to purchase commissary items. You can deposit funds into a loved one’s account through the following avenues:

Phone Calls

The DuPage County Jail has phones installed at each cell block accessible to inmates daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.; inmates cannot receive calls. The DuPage County Jail allows inmates to make Collect calls paid for by the call’s receiver. In case of an emergency, you can call the DuPage County Jail and speak with the Watch Commander about patching you through to an inmate.

Visitations

DuPage County Jail allows both virtual and onsite visitations. The inmates and the visitors are expected to observe the set guidelines and dressing code for these visits. The visiting schedule is dictated by the inmate's housing unit, gender, and day of the week. They are limited to weekdays only.

The DuPage County Jail provides for onsite visits via video visitation terminals except for attorney visits. The onsite video visits run between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The visit lasts 30 minutes, and an inmate is restricted to one call per week.
